I met Mackenzie and Seth on a stormy evening in Grand Forks. We met at a well known location in downtown Grand Forks, a beautiful brick textured alley called “Love Alley.”
This was Mackenzie and Seth’s first professional photo session together, and would be the only one before their big wedding day. Knowing this, I wanted to make it feel like an experience and more like a creative date, rather than a stiff and formal photo session. So we decided to visit some of their favorite places in Grand Forks, and finally to end at a new place- sertoma park.
Some of my favorite things from this session were:
– How much they made each other laugh.
– There was never a moment’s hesitation from either of them when I asked them to kiss.
– And finally, most importantly
– They were so genuinely happy to start their future together, I didn’t even have to coax a smile out of them once. To me, that’s the sure sign of a long and happy marriage ahead of them.
