They say you never know where you’ll happen to find love. But if you’re an ambitious ER doctor and a purpose driven ICU nurse, there’s a good chance that love will find you at a pretty unambiguous place — at work.
Amid the chaos of the busy hospital halls, a warm spirited brown eyed brunette caught the eye of a dashing young physician. This is the story of Melisa and Jordan. Here is a snapshot into that love story — their Snowbowl Ski Resort wedding day in Missoula, Montana.
Jordan and Melissa tied the knot in a jovial Snowbowl Ski Resort wedding. It was the perfect Fall day for a Montana wedding — sunny, cool, and crisp. Towering trees and an endless mountainous horizon made the perfect backdrop for the most gorgeous and quintessential Missoula Wedding Photography you could imagine.
I arrived early in the morning to photograph the bride getting ready in a private bridal suite at Snowbowl Ski Resort. The mother of the bride sat close by getting all dolled up. Bride Melissa’s makeup was exquisitely natural and simple. She wore an elegantly chic A-line wedding dress with a beaded belt detail. Groom Jordan looked dapper in a deep blue suit and matching tie.
A Snowbowl Ski Resort wedding was significant in more ways than one for Jordan and Melissa. For starters, Snowball Ski Resort is a cult classic ski hill in Montana. Its rustic style hasn’t been renovated since the location opened over 50 years ago, making for a warm and cozy wedding venue to welcome friends and family alike. Additionally, Jordan grew up with his family visiting Snowball Ski Resort regularly. And so the opportunity to marry his sweet Melissa here made this Missoula wedding venue extra special.
Jordan and Melissa wedding details, too, were extra special. The two married under a charming wooden arch topped with a brightly colored bouquet. And for the dinner menu, the wedding guests enjoyed Snowball Ski Resorts world famous wood fired pizza, delicious bloody marys, and classic shotskis.
As a Missoula, Montana wedding photographer, I’m particularly fond of Snowbowl Ski Resort wedding ceremonies and receptions. That’s because Snowball Ski Resort is a beautifully unique wedding venue. One of the many elements that I think attracts many couples to this wedding venue is that Snowball Ski Resort is not a particularly easy mountain to get to. Snowball Ski Resort attracts the wanderers, the adventures, the daring — and this certainly describes Jordan and Mellisa and their guests.
